Sarah Bene is a teacher and writer living in Texas. An avid reader, she has always loved stories that let her escape the world, or attempt to explain the absurdities within it. When not writing, she hunts for roly polies with her toddler and hones her list of edible plants that will stay alive in the Texas heat with very little attention. Lemongrass, rosemary, sorrel, moringa, aloe vera, and okinawan spinach are the stars of her garden, in case you also struggle to remember to water.
